End of Year Reflections
As the year draws to a close, Vision Arch celebrates 25 years of innovation, growth, and teamwork. This milestone year was marked by a series of memorable events, including a company day in May, our inaugural BBQ in September, and a festive Christmas party. These gatherings brought together colleagues and partners to reflect on our journey and share in the pride of our collective accomplishments.
Major Projects and Completions
This year, Vision Arch secured three significant new projects:
- University of Southampton Landmark Development: Appointed by Kier Construction Southern, we are delivering façade works for a transformative campus project, scheduled for completion in autumn 2027. This initiative supports the university’s vision for world-class facilities in education and research.
- The Smith, Westminster: Working with Skanska, we are providing façade and rooflight works for a project that blends heritage restoration with advanced sustainability. The Smith aims for top-tier certifications, including BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum, setting new standards for sustainable workplaces in Westminster.
- Queen Mary University of London, School of Business and Management: We have been awarded the full façade package for this major redevelopment on the Mile End Campus, supporting the university’s growth and modernization.
In addition to new wins, we completed five notable projects:
- National Maritime Museum
- Shorts Gardens
- 41 Lothbury
- Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh
- 7 Princes Street
Each project showcases our commitment to quality and innovation. For visual highlights, including drone footage of the Royal Botanic Garden rooflight, please visit our social media channels.
We also have two projects nearing completion: Wells House and Regents Quarter, demonstrating our ongoing momentum.
Accolades and Recognition
This year brought continued recognition for our expertise, and also our commitment to our team. Our people are our priority because we believe that our organisation's success is directly tied to our team members' well-being, growth, and engagement.
- Chancery House: Winner of the 2025 RIBA London Award, a testament to our design excellence and impact on the built environment.
- Occupational Health Award: We were honoured at the BSG Health and Safety Awards, reflecting our dedication to workplace wellbeing.
- Investors in People Awards: Shortlisted in three categories – Best Culture, Health and Wellbeing, and Young Person of the Year (congratulations to our Logistics Manager, Kyle Da Costa). These nominations highlight our commitment to fostering a positive, growth-oriented workplace.
- Achilles Accreditation: This achievement confirms our unwavering focus on safety and quality.
Giving Back
Our charitable efforts continued to grow, with participation in:
- Mental Health Awareness Week (Wear It Green)
- Red Nose Day
- Children In Need
- World Mental Health Day
- World Suicide Prevention Day
We also supported Islington Giving, cheered on Kevin Prescott during the London Marathon as he raised funds for Sue Ryder, and organised a wellbeing session for our Wells House site team and contractors. These initiatives reflect our values and commitment to making a positive impact beyond our business.
In July, we launched our own SPIRIT Month initiative, encouraging employees to give, connect, take notice, learn and stay active. The initiative focused on looking after ourselves, each other and our communities, while having fun along the way. It was a great success and will now become an annual event.
Ongoing Commitments
Our journey to net zero reached a milestone as Vision Arch became a carbon neutral company in 2022, following a comprehensive emissions assessment and offsetting measures. In 2025 we continued to make progress on that journey, supporting the Safe Water project in Zambia, and the Community Boreholes project in Eritrea, providing clean drinking water to numerous households. We are also supporting wider solutions to climate change by funding one of Kenya's most respected forest restoration programs. These projects all contribute to UN Sustainable Development Goals such as climate action and good health and well-being.
Additionally, we strengthened our commitment to safety by attending Building Safety Act training and integrating this knowledge into our operations, ensuring continued compliance with Constructionline Gold Building Safety requirements.
Season’s Greetings
As we wrap up the year, we extend our warmest wishes for a happy Christmas and New Year to all our customers and partners. We look forward to building on this year’s successes and making 2026 even more remarkable together.
