I am delighted to announce that after months of audits and a considerable investment of time and resource, Vision Arch have achieved ISO 14001 accreditation.

In pursuing our business objectives we have always prioritised, not just a legal, but our moral responsibility to properly manage all aspects of our glazing work relating to the environment.

Achieving this ISO accreditation is the latest manifestation of our commitment to hitting our environmental targets. Providing high-quality, trusted services to our clients is incredibly important to us, but it is also vital that we do this whilst supporting environmental initiatives - we aim to go above and beyond standard industry expectation.

What are ISO accreditations?

ISO accreditations are internationally recognised certifications from the International Organisation for Standardisation.

The ISO develops standards, internationally agreed by experts, that describe best business practices in everything from making a product to managing a process; delivering a service to supplying materials.

What is the ISO 14001:2015 accreditation?

ISO 14001:2015 (reviewed and confirmed in 2021) specifies the requirements for an Environmental Management System (EMS) that help an organisation to enhance its environmental performance and reduce impact.

Achieving the ISO 14001 accreditation indicates that a business manages its environmental responsibilities with an effective system and proves to customers and stakeholders that the organisation is realistically committed to sustainability and reducing its environmental impact.

How we achieved accreditation and why this is important for our clients

To become ISO compliant, we underwent a thorough and extensive evaluation process. This included an in-depth assessment of our EMS, a management system documentation review, and an audit of all of our processes and environmental compliance.

We are very proud of our success, passing the accreditation process without the identification of a single nonconformity.

To all our prospective and current clients, the announcement of our ISO 14001 accreditation should serve as great affirmation of our unique commitment as glazing solution specialists to the environment. In line with our Environmental  Policy Statement, ISO 14001 demonstrates our pledge to specific tactics, including a reduction in waste, cutting waste management costs and improvement of our resource efficiency.

Achieving ISO certification demonstrates Vision Arch’s robust and clearly defined procedures in all business areas. We now look forward to our next accreditation process, as we are well on our way to achieving ISO 45001. This sought-after health and safety standard will further confirm our Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) objectives and drive the success of Vision Arch.
