Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Fabrication Scheduler to join our dedicated team

Contract: Full time

Location: Mildenhall / Hybrid

Salary: Negotiable, DOE

JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of the Position

Scheduling of fabrication drawings for production. You will be working from General Arrangement drawings, using a variety of software platforms such as Schucal, Logikal, 2D and 3D software packages to produce fabrication drawings for production.  

Day-to-day operations
  • Working closely with the Production Manager and relevant Project Design Director/s.
  • Working from GA drawings on various packages to produce fabrication drawings for production and scheduling.
  • Dealing with any fabrication enquiries from factory floor.
  • Liaising with internal design team (engineers, seniors, design managers and directors) regarding any queries.
  • Attending internal meetings, as and when required, in relation to fabrication scheduling and reporting.
  • Other ad hoc duties, as and when required.
Key interfaces

All office & factory personnel, including front line and management staff.

 

PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION

Required Skills
  • Good communication & organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in the Architectural Facades industry, preferably with Schuco Systems.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Confident use of the English language.
  • Excellent attention to detail and thorough processing skills.
  • Ability to work on their own as well as within a team.
  • Proficient listening skills and able to follow instructions.
  • Experience within an office and factory environment.
  • Computer literate – AutoCAD, Word, Outlook and Excel. 
  • Experience of working to Programme deadlines.
Specialist Skills / Attributes
  • Methodical and highly organised.
  • Comfortable working and communicating with colleagues at all levels of the business.
  • Excellent CAD package experience;
    * AutoCad
    * SolidWorks | Schucal | Logikal (further training can be provided)
Other
  • Current full driving licence.
  • Full access to transport to, from and during work.

Location:     Mildenhall and Lakenheath area / hybrid working role
