Looking Back On Another Amazing Year At Vision Arch
We can’t believe how quickly another year has come and gone at Vision Arch, but perhaps that’s because 2024 has been filled with proud moments and incredible achievements!
Awards & Recognition
One of the standout highlights of the year was winning the Schueco Excellence Award for our work on Chancery House. But the accolades didn't stop there. Chancery House also won:
- “Workplace Interior (Large) of the Year” in the Dezeen Awards 2024
- “Workplace Project (up to £50 million)” category in the Architects’ Journal Architecture Awards
- “Project of the Year – Workplace 70k+” in the Mix Awards 2024
These prestigious wins really reflect the dedication and creativity of our team.
Adding to this, we were thrilled to be shortlisted in the Investors in People Awards for the Best Newcomer category—a testament to our commitment to fostering a supportive and empowering workplace. Attending the awards ceremony at Old Billingsgate alongside industry peers was truly inspiring.
At Vision Arch, our people are our priority. We firmly believe that the success of our organisation is tied to the well-being, growth, and engagement of our talented team.
Championing Mental Health & Giving Back
Mental health has remained at the forefront of our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts this year. A highlight was Jeremy Moore participating in the London Marathon to raise funds for the Mental Health Foundation. Vision Arch proudly supported his efforts with an additional company donation.
During Mental Health Awareness week (13-19 May) – we focused on Mental Health at Work and promoted this years’ theme of Movement; raising awareness, facilitating opportunities, providing ideas, encouragement and support, and we also held an office event for Wear It Green day.
On World Mental Health Day on 10 October, we gathered as a team for tea, biscuits, and conversations, spotlighting the importance of mental health in the workplace while raising funds for this vital cause.
Beyond this, our CSR activities spanned a range of fun & interesting initiatives:
- Doing Something Funny for Money for Red Nose Day – we held a funny photo competition, shared our favourite jokes, wore our noses, and were generally a bit silly!
- Supporting Children in Need by contributing to Paddy McGuinness’s awe-inspiring challenge.
- Embracing Movember with enthusiasm! Congratulations to our moustache-growing champions, Jeremy, Kyle, and Morris, as well as Luan and Chris, who tackled the Move for Mental Health challenge and completed an impressive 150 km walk in November.
- Sponsoring the Dave Wightman Classic Invitational for the third consecutive year, with two Vision teams participating in this cherished golf event, held in memory of Dave Wightman.
A New Chapter: MBO
This year also marked a pivotal moment in our journey: the Management Buyout. This exciting new chapter was spearheaded by five long-standing members of our Board of Directors alongside our visionary founder, Eddie Wells (see further details here)
Enabling a seamless transition, guaranteeing continuity of management and ensuring our commitment to excellence; as the company remains in the same safe hands that our clients, partners and team members rely upon and trust.
Together, they’ve laid the successful foundations for a strong and innovative future.
Looking Ahead: A Silver Jubilee
As we approach our twenty-fifth anniversary in 2025, we’re reminded of the dedication, passion, and excellence that define Vision Arch.
We are excited to celebrate this milestone with our valued clients, partners, and team members in the year ahead.
